In Slovakia, the first phase of an unprecedented test of almost the entire Slovak population for the coronavirus has come to an end. Since Friday, under the direction of the Ministry of Defense, all residents over ten years old in four particularly badly affected districts on the border with Poland have been subjected to a rapid antigen test. The rest of the country should follow on the next two weekends – around five million people after all. The government in Bratislava sees this project as an example that other European countries could also follow.
