England is building a network of 40 clinics for the treatment of the long-term effects of corona infections. It should start work at the end of the month, says Health Secretary Matt Hancock. He referred to the long-term symptoms known as “Long Covid”, such as breathing difficulties, exhaustion, muscle pain and neurological problems that affect “even the fit and healthy”. “Thousands, many thousands” of these cases are known. In total, Great Britain reports 21,363 new corona infections and 213 further deaths related to Covid-19.
