After US President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania, Trump’s former high-ranking advisor, Kellyanne Conway, is now corona-positive. She tested positive on Friday evening, wrote Conway on Twitter. According to her own statement, she has had mild symptoms so far – a slight cough – feels good and is now in quarantine. Conway was also there when the greats of politics met in the garden of the White House last Saturday and Trump introduced the conservative lawyer Amy Coney Barrett as a candidate for the vacant post at the US Supreme Court. Conway was seen in photos without masks and in close contact with other guests, for example at the side of Attorney General William Barr. On Friday, the contagion of two Republicans in the US Senate had already drawn attention to the event. It took place in the open air in the rose garden, but it was easy to see that many of the participants did not wear masks and did not keep their distance. Conway sat right behind Melania Trump at the event.
