As a result, most shops in shopping centers have to close from Saturday. Only supermarkets, pharmacies and hairdressing salons are allowed to remain open. After older pupils and students had to switch to distance learning, the government has now ordered this for grades one to three as well. If the restrictions do not have any effect, a “nationwide quarantine” must be imposed “in a week, ten days,” explained Morawiecki. “It will be very painful.”
