A hiker was reported missing twelve days ago in the US state of Utah. Now the happy ending: Rescue workers found the 38-year-old alive with a head injury near a river bed in Zion National Park. The missing person’s daughter reported to CNN that her mother had hit a tree and lost her orientation. “She couldn’t take more than a step or two without collapsing.” The 38-year-old was so dehydrated “that she could not open her mouth”. She also did not carry food with her. In the meantime she is still weak, but can already take up food again and is on the mend.
