If Aaron Rodgers is traded, could Broncos’ Drew Lock be the Packers’ next QB? Here’s what one oddsmaker says.

As speculation continues on Aaron Rodgers’ future with the Packers, one oddsmaker is putting strong odds on a current Broncos player to be Green Bay’s next quarterback.

Drew Lock is listed at +300 odds — meaning a $100 bet would win $300 — to take the Packers’ first snap in Week 1 of the 2021 regular season, according to sportsbetting.com. He is the favorite among the 17 quarterbacks listed.

If Rodgers ends up starting, the bet will be canceled and declared a no action.

Lock, a Broncos’ second-round pick in the 2019 NFL draft, is ranked ahead of the Packers’ 2020 first-round selection Jordan Love (+500), as is Raiders quarterback Derek Carr (+400). Denver’s Teddy Bridgewater (+1,200) is the seventh favorite and former Broncos backup Blake Bortles (+2,500) is 13th on the list.

Lock, 24, completed 57.3% of his passes last season for 2,933 yards, 16 touchdowns and 15 interceptions in 13 games for Denver.

The Broncos are the favorite landing spot for Rodgers to be traded to, improving from +250 last week to +200, according to the sports book, ahead of the Raiders (+900), 49ers (+900) and Dolphins (+1,000).
