French court overturns Corona service ceiling – – today

Sars-CoV-2-Mutante

The highest French administrative court has overturned the corona-related maximum number of 30 believers at religious events. According to the State Council in Paris, the upper limit should be 30 percent of the occupancy of the place, as announced by the Catholic Church in France. The regulation currently in force is therefore not proportionate and represents an attempt to severely restrict the freedom of religious practice. As reported by the French media, the government has three days to revise the requirement. The first easing of the strict corona rules have been in effect in France since Saturday. Shops that are not essential to life are also allowed to reopen, and more time is given for sports and outdoor walks. President Emmanuel Macron had announced the easing in a televised address – including that masses can again take place with a maximum of 30 believers. The French Bishops’ Conference then turned to the judiciary.
