I’m a Warrant Officer and just hit 20 years. I’m starting to wonder if there’s a real incentive on staying in. I’m not really having to deploy anymore and work as a telecommunications program manager. The job is pretty lame and I don’t like going to work. I will most likely get 100% VA disability. I’d really like to get a remote working job. Being a CWO is pretty sweet though and know I’ll lose a lot of the perks. I just feel like I’m leaving a ton of money on the table and avoiding the inevitable. Love to hear from those who’ve been in this situation.
