In Spain, a record number of deaths counted daily from the corona pandemic has been recorded. 411 deaths were registered within one day, according to Fernando Simón, the government coordinator responsible for fighting the virus. This is the highest number to date during the current second wave of the novel virus’ spread in the country. It is possible that the daily number of deaths will continue to increase in the next few days, said Simón. According to the authorities, a total of 39,756 people in Spain have died in connection with the infection since the beginning of the pandemic.
