Venezuela’s Vice-President Delcy Rodríguez has criticized Colombia’s decision that Venezuelan refugees should not be entitled to a corona vaccination there. She called this order by the Colombian head of state Iván Duque terrible and barbaric. She also said on VTV that Duque’s decision was xenophobic, racist and violated the rights of migrants. At the beginning of the week, Duque made it clear that Venezuelan refugees who do not have an official residence status in Colombia or who do not have dual citizenship would not receive the vaccination for the population, which was planned for February.
