Hungary wants to acquire license for Russian corona vaccine

Corona Dead

In the fight against the corona pandemic, Hungary is negotiating the acquisition of a license to manufacture a Russian vaccine in its own country. The Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto confirmed this in a video that he posted on Facebook. Until then, the vaccines developed and manufactured in Russia will be imported on a larger scale. A first smaller delivery will arrive in Hungary in December and a larger one in January, said Szijjarto. Russia has developed the world’s first corona vaccine, which is approved for widespread use in the population under the name “Sputnik-V” – against international concerns. A second vaccine called “EpiVacCorona” was registered in Russia in mid-October. In the video, Szijjarto did not mention which of these vaccines Hungary wants to import or manufacture itself.
