Corona cases are increasing in the House of Representatives in Rome. According to a count by the newspaper “Il Messaggero”, 20 parliamentarians from the larger of the two chambers in Rome had tested positive for the virus by Saturday. According to media reports, there are also other people who are in quarantine as a precaution. Newspapers wrote, citing MPs, that there should be no votes in the chamber in the coming week. Nonetheless, political work continues with debates and committee meetings.
