Xi says there is no compromise. Just theoretically, if conflict breaks out, do I volunteer? Or vice versa – if I get drafted, do I say no and face the consequences?

I’ve been reading about the history of Taiwan and I’ve been keeping up with news over the past couple of years and it’s something I keep debating. What do you guys think in terms of ethics or any other perspectives?
