New York authorities have taken action against a planned wedding that was expected to attract more than 10,000 attendees. The celebration should have taken place on Monday in the Williamsburg neighborhood of Brooklyn. The event was expressly prohibited by order, said Governor Andrew Cuomo. “You can get married. You just can’t have 10,000 people at your wedding,” said Cuomo. “The result at the end of the day is the same”. Cuomo went on to say that the strategy of countering micro-clusters in the city through local lockdowns is showing success.
