A recent strate­gic fires study is prompt­ing the Army to go after a near-term, mid-range mis­sile pro­to­typ­ing effort. But mean­while, its cross-domain capa­bil­i­ty upgrade for the Army Tac­ti­cal Mis­sile Sys­tem is delayed due to tech­ni­cal problems.
