The Amer­i­can Pres­i­dent Trump shows his fas­cist face more and more. He sees him­self ille­gal­ly as a dic­ta­tor and wants the army against vio­lent ones? Use demon­stra­tors to alleged­ly restore law and order in the Unit­ed States. The pre­vi­ous pol­i­cy of divi­sion in the inter­ests of the cor­po­ra­tions and the dis­crim­i­na­tion against peo­ple of col­or have con­tributed sig­nif­i­cant­ly to the cur­rent demon­stra­tions. The bes­tial mur­der of the black George Floyd by a police offi­cer was only a spark on the pow­der keg of the long pent-up anger of large sec­tions of the pop­u­la­tion against the arbi­trary police force. It goes with­out say­ing that blind vio­lence must be com­bat­ed and pun­ished. You don’t need a mil­i­tary for that! In fas­cist fash­ion, Trump specif­i­cal­ly wants to break the resis­tance of the Antifa by hav­ing these orga­ni­za­tions banned with­out hav­ing a sin­gle evi­dence of acts of vio­lence by them. The rea­son is obvi­ous: peo­ple who fight against social injus­tice in the state and against the oppres­sion and exploita­tion by com­pa­nies and the state appa­ra­tus are a par­tic­u­lar thorn in the side of right-wing pop­ulist Trump. There­fore, it can­not be ruled out that the vio­lent protests are pro­voked by right-wing extrem­ists or fas­cists so that the gov­ern­ment has a rea­son to fur­ther dis­man­tle human rights in the USA (The US con­sti­tu­tion is most­ly only on paper and has lit­tle to do with real­i­ty together).

The lat­est police oper­a­tion against peace­ful demon­stra­tors in front of the White House in Wash­ing­ton, where tear gas and rub­ber bul­lets have been used, shows how Trump’s hench­men deal with human rights. Trump per­formed in the rose garden.

Even gov­er­nors revolt­ed against Trump’s move. The dpa-info­com writes on 2.6.20:

Demo­c­ra­t­ic gov­er­nors indig­nant­ly reject­ed Trump’s move. New York State Gov­er­nor Andrew Cuo­mo called it “shame­ful” that Trump want­ed to use the mil­i­tary against Amer­i­cans. Illi­nois state gov­er­nor J. B. Pritzk­er told CNN that the pres­i­dent had no legal basis to send the US mil­i­tary to states. Michi­gan state gov­er­nor Gretchen Whit­mer said Trump could not use the mil­i­tary with­out her con­sent. Whit­mer called Trump’s state­ments “dan­ger­ous and harrowing”.

Demo­c­ra­t­ic lead­ers in the House and Sen­ate, Nan­cy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer, crit­i­cized the Repub­li­can Trump fur­ther fuel­ing dis­cord and vio­lence in the coun­try. In a joint state­ment by Pelo­sis and Schumers, it said: “At a time when our coun­try is call­ing for uni­ty, this Pres­i­dent is tear­ing it to pieces.”

Even dur­ing the autop­sy of Floyd’s body, an offi­cial coro­ner tried to exon­er­ate the police from the mur­der alle­ga­tion, in which he diag­nosed the cause of death as car­diac arrest rather than asphyx­i­a­tion. In con­trast, inde­pen­dent coro­ners iden­ti­fied asphyx­i­a­tion as a clear cause of death as a result of the bru­tal police oper­a­tion, and lawyers for George Floyd’s fam­i­ly sub­mit­ted an autop­sy report on Monday.

Although the guilty police­man is in cus­tody, the court ver­dict will prob­a­bly be extreme­ly mild, as in many oth­er crim­i­nal offens­es com­mit­ted by police­men in office, or the police­man in ques­tion can even expect an acquittal!

It is already cer­tain that a mil­i­tary oper­a­tion inside the USA will fur­ther inten­si­fy the esca­la­tion of vio­lence and that the USA will be head­ing for civ­il war — in addi­tion to the coro­na cri­sis, which has not yet been overcome!
