In Penn­syl­va­nia, attor­ney Pam Bon­di reports a suc­cess: She pre­sent­ed the press with a court order that the Trump team could use to gain access to the count­ing site. “This is a vic­to­ry for any­one who has legal­ly vot­ed in Penn­syl­va­nia,” said Boni. In the face of falling votes in con­test­ed states, Trump claims that he will be cheat­ed of vic­to­ry with dubi­ous postal votes.

Biden is get­ting clos­er to Trump in Pennsylvania

In the state that could make Biden pres­i­dent on its own, the race is get­ting tighter: Pres­i­dent Don­ald Trump is only 50.4 per­cent of the vote in Penn­syl­va­nia. Chal­lenger Joe Biden now has 48.3 per­cent. That means a dif­fer­ence of 135,702 votes. More than ten per­cent of the votes have not yet been count­ed. For hours the count has only known one direc­tion in favor of Biden, appar­ent­ly because a large major­i­ty of postal vot­ers from urban areas vot­ed for Biden. Biden’s 20 Penn­syl­va­nia elec­toral vote would be enough for a major­i­ty in Elec­toral College.
