A bicyclist suffered serious injures Friday afternoon in a southeast Denver traffic collision with a vehicle, police said.

The injury crash happened in the area of East Evans Avenue and South Pontiac Way, police said in a 3:51 p.m. Tweet. The cyclist was taken to a local hospital with injuries that are not life threatening.

The driver involved remained on the scene. An investigation is ongoing.
