A bicy­clist suf­fered seri­ous injures Fri­day after­noon in a south­east Den­ver traf­fic col­li­sion with a vehi­cle, police said.

The injury crash hap­pened in the area of East Evans Avenue and South Pon­ti­ac Way, police said in a 3:51 p.m. Tweet. The cyclist was tak­en to a local hos­pi­tal with injuries that are not life threatening.

The dri­ver involved remained on the scene. An inves­ti­ga­tion is ongoing.
