In Switzer­land, the num­ber of infec­tions con­tin­ues to rise sharply. The Fed­er­al Office of Pub­lic Health reports 10,128 lab­o­ra­to­ry-con­firmed infec­tions with the coro­n­avirus with­in 24 hours — a new high after the mark of 10,000 pos­i­tive tests was exceed­ed for the first time on Wednes­day. Anoth­er 62 peo­ple have died from or with the coro­n­avirus, there have been a total of 2337 deaths since the out­break of the pandemic.
