On Tues­day, the Arleigh Burke-class guid­ed-mis­sile destroy­er USS John S. McCain (DDG 56) was “aggres­sive­ly approached” by a Russ­ian Admi­ral Vino­gradov anti-sub­ma­rine destroy­er in the Sea of Japan.
