Por­tu­gal is impos­ing local night­ly cur­fews. Prime Min­is­ter Anto­nio Cos­ta announced that 121 of the 308 munic­i­pal­i­ties will be affect­ed, includ­ing the cap­i­tal Lis­bon and Por­to. The cur­few will apply when the 15-day state of emer­gency comes into force on Mon­day from 11 p.m. to 6 a.m. In addi­tion, peo­ple are not allowed to leave their homes between 1 p.m. and 5 a.m. on the next two weekends.
