In a pre-dawn oper­a­tion along the Plat­te Riv­er on Mon­day, Den­ver offi­cials began uproot­ing a street camp where peo­ple live in tents, in parked cars and under tarps, telling them to move to anoth­er location.

Except most of the peo­ple there said they had nowhere else to live.
