In the high­ly com­pet­i­tive state of Penn­syl­va­nia, 71 per­cent of postal votes have now been count­ed, accord­ing to offi­cial fig­ures. There are still 736,000 votes miss­ing. Most impor­tant results are expect­ed before the end of the night from Philadel­phia, the largest coun­ty in the state and a strong­hold of the Democ­rats, as well as Alleghe­ny Coun­ty. In these two coun­ties alone, around 166,000 votes have to be counted.
