In view of rising corona numbers, the Norwegian government has announced further restrictions. Entrants from countries with high infection rates must show a negative corona test from Monday and go into quarantine for ten days. This also applies to visits to relatives, said Prime Minister Erna Solberg on Thursday. In other words: if the grandmother from Germany wants to visit the grandchildren in Norway, she first has to go to a quarantine hotel. This does not apply to anyone who commutes to work in Norway from the neighboring countries of Sweden and Finland. In the past three weeks, 6,000 new corona cases have been registered, said Solberg. “And the curve gets steeper from week to week.”
