A man was shot dead Mon­day at an Auro­ra motel on East Col­fax Avenue, police said.

At about 2:20 p.m., offi­cers respond­ed to the Radi­ant Inn, 10950 E. Col­fax Ave., and found a man suf­fer­ing from a gun­shot wound, police said in a news release. He was tak­en to a local hos­pi­tal where he died.

The inci­dent is being inves­ti­gat­ed as a homi­cide. Police did not release infor­ma­tion Mon­day on a sus­pect in the case.
