In ana­lyz­ing 79 coun­ties in 22 states that met hot spot sta­tus between June 5 and 18, the CDC found that 96.2 per­cent of those coun­ties saw Black, Lati­no, Native Amer­i­can and Asian-Amer­i­can peo­ple infect­ed with the coro­n­avirus at rates above their pro­por­tion of the population.
