I’m in Canada and I have an assault charge on my youth record and I really want to join the Canadian armed forces. Do they accept people with youth records or no? And if they don’t, I was looking into the French foreign legion but the thing keeping me away is that I won’t be able to see my parents for a long time and that you cannot buy a house or a car, and you must share a room on base. Are there any other places that accept foreigners. Thanks for any information provided.
