Denverites should enjoy the last vestiges of 70-degree weather Saturday as an incoming cold front will bring rain and snow to the Front Range and Colorado’s High Country.
Highs in Denver are expected to reach the low 70s, with increasing winds that could hit up to 40 mph by the afternoon, according to the National Weather Service in Boulder.
Rain showers are forecasted to move into the mountains in the afternoon and evening with up to 6 inches possible in some high-elevation centers.
Precipitation is possible in Denver on Monday, though the temperatures may be high enough for it to stay rain, while the mountains get snow.
