If the sig­nif­i­cant increase in infec­tions con­tin­ues, the Czech gov­ern­ment, Health Min­is­ter Adam Vojtech, could declare a state of emer­gency. The gov­ern­ment should dis­cuss such a move on Mon­day, he said in a tele­vi­sion dis­cus­sion. In the past 14 days, the num­ber of infec­tions per 100,000 pop­u­la­tion in the Czech Repub­lic was 193, accord­ing to the Euro­pean Cen­ter for Dis­ease Pre­ven­tion and Control.
