In the Czech Repub­lic, which is par­tic­u­lar­ly bad­ly affect­ed by the coro­na pan­dem­ic, there are signs of grad­ual relax­ation. As the news por­tal Novinky.cz report­ed, cit­ing infor­ma­tion from the Min­istry of Health, the so-called num­ber of repro­duc­tions fell back to 1 on Sun­day for the first time since the begin­ning of autumn. The Czech Min­istry of Health sees the slow­ing of the coro­na spread as a suc­cess of the strict coun­ter­mea­sures. Inte­ri­or Min­is­ter Jan Hamacek did not rule out an exten­sion of the imposed coro­na emer­gency until Christ­mas on Sun­day. Among oth­er things, there is a night cur­few in the Czech Repub­lic. Schools, restau­rants and most shops are closed. Accord­ing to offi­cial infor­ma­tion, 180,797 peo­ple were count­ed as active cas­es of infec­tion in the Czech Repub­lic on Monday.
