Like other European countries, Cyprus is now imposing a night curfew. The lock applies between 11 p.m. and 5 a.m. and comes into force today, as Health Minister Constantinos Ioannou announced. In addition, all restaurants, bars and cafes must close at 10.30 pm. The measures initially apply until the end of the month. Night curfews had already been imposed in Greece, Italy, Austria and Hungary, among others. In France, too, a night curfew applies to much of the country.
