Col­orado Gov. Jared Polis will quar­an­tine after learn­ing he was exposed to some­one who test­ed pos­i­tive for COVID-19.

Polis was test­ed Wednes­day night with results com­ing back neg­a­tive, he said in a tweet.

Accord­ing to the CDC and CDPHE guid­ance, Polis will be mon­i­tored close­ly while in quar­an­tine and will be test­ed again in lat­er this week.

This evening, I learned that I was exposed to an indi­vid­ual who has test­ed pos­i­tive for COVID-19. I took a test tonight and test­ed neg­a­tive but will begin quar­an­tine, per CDC and CDPHE guid­ance. pic.twitter.com/aeUQP8ynaD
