Will paying for a class III flight physical out of pocket up my chances to retrain into Aircrew thru the Reserve/Air guard?

Currently Active Duty and it’s been impossible for me to retrain (2nd Term/Career Airman here).

Looking towards Palace Chase into the Guard/Reserve but they want a flight med physical prior to application for Aircrew.

Active Duty will not give me one unless I am retraining into Aircrew.

So its a catch 22.

Wondering if I pay out of pocket for a flight physical would that be an incentive for a Guard/Reserve unit to take me on?

I’ve asked my in-service recruiter and he didn’t have an answer for me.
