Biden performs in Pennsylvania and Georgia

It has been clear for hours: Joe Biden is now also leading the vote count in the state of Pennsylvania. In Georgia, too, the Democrat is ahead of Donald Trump. The incumbent is about to be voted out. Joe Biden leads the count in the state that could make him president alone. On Friday morning, he passed Trump by 5587 votes. The counting has not yet ended when a little more than 95 percent of the votes have been voted, but the unevaluated ballot papers all seem to come from districts leaning towards Biden. The new voices on Friday come from the metropolis of Philadelphia. It is almost exclusively postal voters who vote democratically more often. Biden has also been ahead for several hours in the state of Georgia. Meanwhile, the contested states of Nevada and Arizona will not give new results until later Friday (local time). The big difference: The race is close in Georgia and Pennsylvania, but everything indicates that Biden will win there. In Arizona and Nevada, on the other hand, Biden already has a reasonably comfortable lead and there is no trend towards losing that lead.

The election evaluation platform DecisionDesk went so far as to declare the race for Pennsylvania as decided. The Associated Press news agency, which as the leading US medium usually calculates the winner, said it was too early for that. Still, it comes as no surprise that Biden’s team is pushing the preparations for their candidate’s victory speech.
