Are the Switchblades a breakthrough technology in a modern war, or are they largely irrelevant?

Compare Switchblade 300 to the Soviet 82mm mortar:

Weight: Similar, per missile.

Range: 3x greater

Accuracy: Supposedly, they rarely miss. You could dive-bomb someone in a foxhole, as I understand it. While with a mortar, your chances of hitting someone in a foxhole are slim.

Cost: The cost of $6000 per missile, means that even with, say, 50% accuracy, you could take out 100,000 targets at the cost of just $1.2B. Unguided mortar shells are cheaper, but you need a lot more of them, plus the transportation costs.

There was a lot of talk about the Switchblade a while ago, but then they just dropped off the radar, like some news fad.
