Steven Fer­rari (right), com­mand­ing gen­er­al for the 42nd Infantry Divi­sion, case the division’s col­ors dur­ing a trans­fer of author­i­ty cer­e­mo­ny held recent­ly in the CENTCOM area of respon­si­bil­i­ty. The cer­e­mo­ny was held to trans­fer respon­si­bil­i­ty for Task Force Spar­tan Shield — 10,000 Army forces oper­at­ing in the region –to the Texas Army Nation­al Guard’s 36th Infantry Division.
