In Mexico, more than 100,000 people have died of Covid-19 since the beginning of the corona pandemic. Vice Minister of Health Hugo López-Gatell announced the total of 100,104 deaths at a press conference. Mexico is the fourth country to have passed the 100,000 corona death threshold. In the past 24 hours, 576 other people died as a result of a corona infection, said López-Gatell. The number of infections registered since the beginning of the pandemic rose to more than 1.019 million, according to him. Mexico is the fourth most severely affected country in the world by the corona pandemic. The USA, Brazil and India are in the first place.
