In Sweden, the coronavirus-related death mark has exceeded 6,000. As the health authority FOHM announced, the number of new infections has risen rapidly in recent weeks. Almost ten percent of the people tested were positive last week. Two weeks ago it was reportedly 5.6 percent. On Thursday, a total of 141,764 infected and 6002 dead were shown in the official corona statistics. This also results in 314 newly infected people per 100,000 inhabitants in the past 14 days. Sweden has gone a separate way since the beginning of the pandemic and is counting on its residents to voluntarily follow the recommendations for contagion prevention. In ten regions people are currently asked to have as little social contact as possible and to avoid shopping centers, museums, concerts and local public transport.
