The Nuggets made history on Tuesday.
Denver recorded just one turnover in its 111–106 win over Portland at Ball Arena. The team tweeted out after the game that it was the fewest in NBA history.
The sole turnover was recorded by Jamal Murray.
“I’m sick,” Murray said after the game after he found out about the lone blemish.

The Nuggets broke the previous mark of two, which was shared by five other teams, according to stathead.com
- The Bucks against the Pacers on April 1, 2006.
- The Cavaliers against the Trail Blazers on March 19, 2009.
- The Thunder against the Lakers on March 5, 2013.
- The Hornets against the Bucks on March 28, 2017.
- The Suns against the Pacers on Jan. 9, 2021.
Charlotte is the only team to lose when giving up fewer than three turnovers, falling 118–108 to Milwaukee.
Denver’s previous franchise record was three, which they had in a 125–121 loss to the Hawks on Nov. 12, 2019.
