The South African national soccer player Motjeka Madisha was killed in a car accident. This was confirmed by a representative of the South African record champions Mamelodi Sundowns of the French news agency AFP. The car with 25-year-old Madisha and one other occupant had gotten out of control, hit a billboard and then went up in flames. Madisha is said to have crawled out of the burning car, but died of his injuries at the scene of the accident. The 13-time national player is already the second Sundowns professional to be killed in a car accident within two months.
