Apple has reached a comparison with more than 30 states in the dispute over allegedly throttled iPhones in the USA. In the course of this, the group pays another 113 million US dollars, as lawyers from the states concerned announced. Since the end of 2017, more and more allegations have been made to Apple that the performance of iPhones with older batteries is being throttled. The group then installed new software on the devices. “Big tech companies need to stop manipulating consumers and telling them the whole truth about their practices and products,” Arizona Attorney General Mark Brnovich said in a statement.

In court filings, the company denied wrongdoing, stating that the agreement was not an admission of violating any law or regulation. Apple agreed earlier this year to pay up to $ 500 million to settle a class action lawsuit that allegedly throttled iPhones with older batteries.
