In the fight against the second corona wave, Hungary’s Prime Minister Viktor Orban has announced a nationwide partial lockdown. From Wednesday, all restaurants and cultural sites will have to close, gatherings will be prohibited, Orban announced in a Facebook video. The night curfew, which has been in force for almost a week, should therefore be extended to between 8 p.m. and 5 a.m. The restrictions, which still have to be approved by parliament, are initially to apply for 30 days.
