In France, the first vaccine doses are expected to arrive by the end of the year. According to France’s Prime Minister Jean Castex, 1.16 million units of a first vaccine will be delivered by the end of the month. At the beginning of January, another 677,000 cans should be added, in February another 1.6 million. Castex said they would do everything possible to coordinate the vaccination campaign with other EU countries. He had previously announced that one million people at particular risk would initially be vaccinated.
