The relationship between Prince Harry and his wife Meghan and the media is considered tense. Now they achieve a partial victory in the fight against intrusive photographers. Illegally captured photos of her son Archie are being taken from the market. In the dispute over paparazzi photos of their son, Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan scored an important victory. After a lawsuit by the two, the X17 agency apologized, according to the couple’s PR company: “We have wrongly offered these photos and committed not to do them again,” said a letter. The drone pictures of little Archie in the garden in Beverly Hills, California were handed over to the couple, copies were therefore destroyed, according to the comparison made. Meghan and Harry filed the lawsuit in July after the photos were offered internationally. It was alleged that they were recorded in public. In fact, they were created in the garden of the house that Tyler Perry had given the couple. The pictures finally appeared in a German magazine.

Three of the largest picture agencies in Los Angeles were summoned to find out which was responsible. It turned out that X17 had offered the photos. The agency apologized and also agreed to pay part of Meghan and Harry’s legal fees. The lawsuit was apparently also intended to deter potential buyers of the photos. In the complaint, the couple noted that Archie has not been seen in public since the couple moved to Southern California. The process is seen as a great success for Harry and Meghan in their struggle for more privacy in their new home. The couple had announced their withdrawal from the inner circle of the British royals earlier this year and partially cut their ties to the royal family. Archie lived in Los Angeles for a few months, but then moved to Santa Barbara, about a two-hour drive north of LA. In Great Britain, the couple’s relationship with photographers and the tabloid media was already tense. Among other things, it complained against the “Mail on Sunday”: It was about a letter from Meghan to her father, which the paper had published in excerpts. The Duchess feels that her personal rights have been violated as a result.
