The highest corona warning level applies in numerous French metropolises, including Paris and Lyon. Bars are closed, and more strict hygiene measures apply in restaurants. The situation is particularly tense in the greater Paris area. According to the head of the regional health authority, Aurélien Rousseau, 17 percent of the people tested for the corona virus are positive there. Among young people, around 800 people per 100,000 population became infected with the virus in the past seven days. In the past, it has been emphasized again and again that general national exit restrictions, such as those that existed in the spring, should be avoided. In France, the rules were very strict at the time, people were only allowed to go outside with a form. The range of motion and the time in the fresh air were limited, parks and beaches were closed. In view of the now almost 33,000 corona fatalities, drastic measures now seem locally limited again.
