Corona emergency makes inventive – Billions invite you to an interactive break

1978 TT Ikarus Bus DDR Produktion

The corona pandemic continues to rage. The culture is dead. Really the whole culture? No! Many artists fight the November blues with innovative ideas. So does the Berlin band Mia. Around front woman Mieze, who are throwing an interactive party. In the Corona crisis, art and culture in particular fall by the wayside. The current partial lockdown with closed cinemas, barricaded theaters, canceled concerts and canceled events makes this particularly painful. But even in the summer it was not least the musical landscape that became deserted because of the measures necessary to combat the pandemic. There were excellent concepts to make live shows possible even under the difficult conditions of the Corona period. The Berlin band Mia., For example, completed various open-air concerts in the summer, which were organized with so much commitment and in such an exemplary manner that the risk of infection should have tended to zero. Nevertheless, these bright spots in the darkness of the cultural pandemic clear cut remained the exception. On the one hand, because the events could hardly be run economically with a few hundred spectators. On the other hand, because despite all the precautionary measures, many fans avoided going to the live events. The worry of possibly getting infected then obviously weighed more heavily on them than the rare chance to experience a band like Mia. In an almost hand-picked group. At the shows in summer, some of the spaces that had been set up by a large margin remained empty.

See and be seen

New game New luck. And so Mia. Came up with another innovative concept in order to be able to be very close to their fans despite Corona. On Saturday evening they invite you to an “interactive streaming party”. Not only are the songs from the new album “Limbo”, which was released in spring, and numerous billionaire classics on the program. Rather, the group promises a real “Saturday evening show with all kinds of antics, guests” and a lot of “live nonsense”. “We see you! We hear you! We talk to you! You talk to us!” Is the motto, because the technology makes it possible: Up to 1000 people are connected via video to the Berlin studio in which the Sause goes on stage. The audience should not only be able to “sing along, clap along and freak out”. “You can vote for your favorite songs and outfits or announce the next song. We try out choreographies together or just drink a shower together,” the group rather announces. However, those who want to actively participate must secure one of the 1000 interactive tickets. If you just want to sit back and enjoy the show, you can purchase a standard ticket. Both tickets are available as single or living room versions. There is no fundamental difference apart from the price. It starts at 8:15 p.m. Tickets can be bought online. In the arts and culture, the “red alert” has not just been in place yesterday. But with good ideas, the dark red can perhaps be lightened a little. If you get an exclusive show for it, all the better.
