Protests against curfews and other corona measures have rioted in Italy’s capital Rome. Protesters threw fireworks at police officers on Sunday night in the center of Rome, as the Adnkronos news agency reported. When riot police came to reinforce, cars were damaged and dumpsters set on fire. According to media reports, two police officers were injured and at least ten demonstrators were arrested. Hundreds of people were reported to have participated in the unauthorized protest, organized by the neo-fascist Forza Nuova party. Party leader Roberto Fiore wrote on Twitter that Italian livelihoods were “being sacrificed in the name of a ‘pseudo-pandemic'”.
