After Broncos linebacker Von Miller suffered an ankle injury that may keep him out the entire season, he received a well wish from an old friend.
Former Denver quarterback Peyton Manning delivered a video message to Miller on Wednesday. The two were teammates from 2012–15 and won Super Bowl 50 in Manning’s final season.
“I’m sorry about the news, I just want you to know you’ll be in my thoughts and prayers, I’ll be pulling for you in this recovery,” Manning says. “I know you’ll attack it like everything else and be better for it. … We’ll be pulling hard for ya, pal.”
