Antho­ny Davis’ dev­as­tat­ing 3‑pointer crushed the Nuggets’ hopes of yet anoth­er dra­mat­ic sec­ond-half come­back and staked Los Ange­les to a 2–0 lead in these West­ern Con­fer­ence Finals. It’s the first time in Denver’s last five play­off series that it’s faced a 2–0 deficit head­ing into Game 3 on Tues­day night.
