Over the last year, 14 Texas cities have approved ordi­nances out­law­ing abor­tion with­in their city lim­its. Lub­bock could become the lat­est and the largest city in “The Lone Star” state to name itself a “sanc­tu­ary city for the unborn” and out­law abor­tion if the may­or and the city coun­cil approve it.
